He Built Downtown…

Sharing is caring!

Wagenseller Law Firm Honors Stuart M. Ketchum at 4th Annual “Cocktails Under The Stars”

Stuart M. Ketchum is an icon in downtown real estate. His projects include the Security Pacific National Bank Building, the 800 Wilshire Building, the 400 Hope Street Building and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. Nationwide he has developed over 100 Walgreens Drug Stores. And for over 40 years he has been a Board Member and staunch supporter of the YMCA.

At our annual cocktail party on May 19th, we honored Mr. Ketchum for his real estate legacy and for his contribution to downtown. Our “Cocktails Under The Stars” brings together the downtown business and real estate community for a night of fun and camaraderie-but with the purpose of making camp possible for the kids who live in the neighborhoods around downtown Los Angeles.

The event kicks off our month-long drive to send children and teens from the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles to Camp Whittle in the mountains of Big Bear, CA for summer camp with the Stuart M. Ketchum Downtown YMCA.

Through the end of the month, we will be raising money to send kids to camp. You can help. Donate here or send us a check at the address below made out to “Ketchum YMCA.” It costs $400 to send a kid to camp. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
